Professor Satish Chandra is the founder and Director of RestorTM, a global Healthcare Research Consulting organization with branches in multiple countries. He is a renowned healthcare consultant with cross-disciplinary expertise along the entire healthcare value chain. His expertise is derived from the design, development, and deployment of operational excellence during his tenure with multinational pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, clinics, and academic medical centres in the USA, India, Lebanon, and the UAE. He has successfully enabled international and regional engagements with providers, patients, regulators, accreditation bodies, academic and healthcare institutions, and funding portals to develop high-quality cost-effective models for medical research operations, integrated health systems, academic medical centres, ambulatory care models, and physician groups.
Dr. Chandra was the former specialist and medical research director at Pure Health-Tawam Hospital, SEHA (formerly affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine, USA) and Professor at the College of Medicine United Arab Emirates University. Prior to that, he served in senior management roles at multinational pharmaceutical companies including Merck and Endocrine Sciences in California, USA. He graduated from TN Medical College, obtained a Masters in Medical Biochemistry and PhD from the College of Medicine-University of Minnesota, followed by an MBA (Healthcare Systems) from the University of Nebraska and Medical Informatics from Oregon State University. He is American Board Certified in Medical Quality, Medical Informatics and Innovation.
He has authored over 150 indexed international peer-reviewed scientific publications in prestigious journals such as the Lancet, British Medical Journal, and PLOS, along with books on disease susceptibility (Wiley) and Ethics. He serves as an advisory editorial board member/associate editor for several high-impact medical journals including International Journal General Medicine, Risk Management & Healthcare Policy, Frontiers in Public Health, Contemporary Clinical Trials, and British Medical Journal. He is a respected co-chair of human research ethics committees and a key opinion leader in the healthcare research sector, particularly for the entire value chain of clinical trial development.
A notable scientific achievement includes being credited as the original inventor for cloning and discovering the Human FKBP54 gene, responsible for miscarriages in the early trimester of pregnancy in women. His problem-solving, design to deployment, research, and innovation skills make him unique in healthcare, particularly in creating transformative models for clinical trials, clinical operations, training, and addressing regulatory bottlenecks.
Professor Jayadevan Sreedharan completed his Master's in Statistics from Annamalai University, India; a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Kerala, India; and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Tampere, Finland. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Cancer Prevention from the National Cancer Institute, USA, and a Diploma in Health Professions Education from Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE.
